Melissa Brentlinger is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy and maintains a private practice in the Harlingen-Brownsville TX area.
With over 25 years experience as a licensed professional counselor and a licensed marriage and family therapist, Melissa is passionate about her work. She is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master's degree in Christian Education and a second master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Melissa also is trained in EMDR. She currently serves in private practice in the Rio Grande Valley area. Among her areas of expertise are treating anxiety, depression, PTSD and relationship issues.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Melissa has presented at conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Eating Disorders, Communication and Health. She previously trained volunteer grief counselors and currently trains professionals about the impact of hoarding tendencies on family dynamics.
